Arrival & Opening
From 16:00 Individual Arrival & Check-in
Welcome to Klosterhof — a former monastic estate from the 16th century,
transformed into a luxury wellness retreat with a sustainable ethos.
Time to settle in and get your bearings.
18:00 - Apéro
First gathering on the terrace overlooking the Berchtesgaden Alps.
Champagne, regional delicacies and opening conversations —
the perfect start to an exceptional weekend.
No agenda, no protocol. Just great company.
20:00 - Dinner
Relaxed dinner at the Klosterhof restaurant.
Regional cuisine and a brief preview of the weekend programme.
Friday, 11 September
Power, Salt & White Gold
08:30 - Breakfast at Klosterhof
A laid table with views across the Berchtesgaden Alps.
Home-baked pastries, regional produce — no buffet scramble.
10:00 - Guided Tour: Berchtesgaden Salt Mine
Salt has been continuously extracted here since 1517 — over 500 years of unbroken operation.
Guided tour as part of the regular programme, with a dedicated focus for our group.
Highlights underground: miner’s slide, salt lake boat crossing, illuminated salt cathedral.
Rechtsbezug: Legal connection: Salt was a state monopoly in the Middle Ages — the Archbishopric of Salzburg controlled the salt trade with an iron fist, shaping the region’s commercial law for centuries. An excellent springboard for discussion on resource law, state monopolies and EU competition policy.

13:00 - Lunch: Gasthof on the Obersalzberg
A short 10-minute drive up from the mine.
Lunch with panoramic views across the Salzburg Alpine foothills.
A place that is simultaneously breathtaking and historically charged.
15:00 - Obersalzberg Documentation Centre: Private Tour
Permanent exhibition “Idyll and Crime” — exploring the history of the Obersalzberg.
The centrepiece: the original wartime bunker complex.
Split into two guided groups of 15.
Rechtsbezug: Legal connection: No setting is better suited for a discussion on international law, war crimes, the Nuremberg Trials and the creation of modern international criminal law — directly relevant today: the ICC, Ukraine tribunal.
17:30 - Eagle’s Nest: Aperitif with a View
The legendary Kehlsteinhaus at 1,834 metres.
Champagne or Grüner Veltliner with this panorama: priceless.
September: clear air, first autumn colours, virtually no tourist crowds.
Note: shuttle from Obersalzberg is mandatory.

20:00 - Dinner: GenussArt Restaurant, Klosterhof
Private dining room setting — multi-course tasting menu.
Curated wine pairing from the Salzburg region and Austria.
Daily-changing menus built on fresh, local ingredients.

Saturday, 12 September
Two (to four) Wheels, One Valley, One Evening
08:30 - Breakfast
A hearty start to the big day — fuel up before the ride.
09:30 - Roadtrip: Rossfeld Panorama Route
Motorcycles and support vehicles depart together in convoy — no one left behind.
Stops and viewpoints are enjoyed as a group.

Route: Klosterhof → Rossfeld Panoramic Road (1,570 m, spectacular views)
→ German/Austrian border ridge → Ramsau → Hintersee → back to Klosterhof
Approx. 80 km, roughly 2 hours riding time — pure, winding roads, minimal truck traffic.
After the tour: motorcycles stay at Klosterhof. Onward to Salzburg by support vehicles.
13:00 - Lunch & Tour: Stiegl Brauwelt, Salzburg
Transfer to Salzburg from Klosterhof — motorcycles remain safely at the hotel.
Austria’s largest private brewery, founded in 1492 — the same year Columbus reached America.
Exclusive tasting experience with a beer sommelier: guided tasting in the cellars
with international food pairings, tailored to the group.

Enjoy the brewery to the fullest — no compromises.
Rechtsbezug: Legal connection: Stiegl is a textbook example of a European family business champion — governance, succession planning, trademark law. Outstanding informal conversation material.
16:00 - Free Time in Salzburg
Recommendations: Mirabell Palace and Gardens,
Café Tomaselli (Salzburg’s oldest coffee house, since 1700),
Sporer wine shop with local spirits and wines.
19:00 - Return to Klosterhof
Group transfer — relaxed, no riding after the brewery.
20:30 - Grand Closing Dinner
Option A: Private gala dinner at Klosterhof
Option B: Exclusive dinner at Obauer, Werfen
Wine recommendation: a vertical tasting of great Austrian whites
(Knoll, Hirsch, Bründlmayer) as the evening’s thread.
