HSG Alumni Club Korea

2023 marks the 70th anniversary of Switzerland’s involvement in the Neutral Nations Supervisory Commission (NNSC), the 60th anniversary of Swiss-Korean diplomatic relations, the 30th anniversary of the creation of the Swiss-Korean Business Council, and the 12th anniversary of the creation of the HSG Alumni Club Korea… not quite there yet, but in good HSG spirit, catching up!

The goal of the Club is to foster relationships between “HSGler” in Korea and serve as a bridge connecting Korea and Switzerland in the areas of science, education, technology, and culture. The Club is steered by Claudia Toenz and Jeremy Heintze, with welcome inputs from the HSG community in Korea. Although very small, the Korea chapter is diverse, and its members are well-versed in Seoul's various local and international communities, as well as throughout Korea.
“Stamms" have been a constant over the past years, and an excellent opportunity to meet, socialize and discover new places in the vibrant city of Seoul. In addition, the HSG Alumni Club Korea has also co-organized a “Swiss Alumni in Korea” event with other Alumni clubs, inviting high-profile guest speakers such as Ambassadors and CEO-level speakers from banking, hospitality, life science, telecommunications, and other large South Korean corporations.
The Chapter runs very informally, and gatherings are also often organised spontaneously and at short notice. Don’t hesitate to get in touch with us should you plan to visit Korea or if you are preparing for an exchange semester.
With the last Covid related restriction recently lifted and the numerous celebratory events planned this year, we are very much looking forward to fully enjoying time together. Certainly, a good reason to come pay us a visit!
