HSG Alumni Club Portugal
The HSG Alumni Club Portugal aims to facilitate sharing country-specific experiences and expertise. Through regular events, it fosters a proactive link between academia and practical application. An eagerly awaited event is approaching, themed "Impact of AI on Marketing and Sales" with HSG Professor Sven Reinecke as the keynote speaker, enriching the occasion with his expertise. The HSG Alumni Club Portugal was established in 2022. We are a relatively young club, which makes it even more dynamic. Our objective is to promote the exchange of country-specific experiences and professional expertise. The club regularly organizes events for its members, where the connection between academia and practical application is proactively supported. Additionally, networking and exchange among club members are also an integral part of our initiatives.
Goals & Vision:
The goal of HSG Alumni Portugal is to cultivate social networks and facilitate knowledge exchange. The match of country-specific experiences and business expertise plays a central role in this endeavor. Moreover, the link between academia and practical application is proactively supported. We also aim to promote social exchange among HSG-alumni in Portugal.
Beyond the Alumni Club activities, we have set another goal. We want to develop the bridge between university and job market on the Iberian Peninsula. The launch of the IBERIC – HSG FORUM, in the spirit of Forum HSG, has the function as an interface between university and job market. It provides a valuable and proven platform for companies to establish connections with students, especially those participating in exchange programs. This facilitates an opportunity for local industry representatives to engage with well-educated and highly motivated HSG students in-person which are well aware of the local situation and challenges.

We are looking forward to our upcoming event on September 27, 2023. In collaboration with the Swiss-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce and Industry CCISP meets HSG Alumni – CCISP Journal, under the theme "Impact of AI on Marketing and Sales" we are organizing an event with our HSG Professor Sven Reinecke as the keynote speaker.
